Danefæ's online shop doubles sales in less than 2 years
Clothing company Danefæ takes both its name and inspiration from the cultural heritage and history of Scandinavia. In Danefæ's online shop, you’ll find jackets, jumpers, hats, and much more featuring Danefæ’s traditional vikings and stripes. To generate more sales and increase brand awareness, Danefæ began using AdWords 2 years ago – and had great success almost immediately. Through its combined use of text adverts, display advertising and remarketing campaigns, sales through the online shop have doubled. Owner Louise Warberg Hækkerup couldn’t be more pleased with the results, explaining: “We have become more competitive online. Basically, we bring more customers into the store.” With more visitors and increased exposure, the company’s target audience has expanded. To keep pace with demand, it has recruited a new staff member and its goal remains to create growth from both its physical stores and the online shop. “We waited a long time before we started using AdWords. Now we can see we should have started earlier. We could never go back to not using AdWords,” concludes Louise Warberg Hækkerup.
