Sparmax was founded in 2005, and has grown to become one of Norway’s biggest online shops for bathroom fittings, garden furniture and spa/wellbeing products such as jacuzzis and saunas. The company has used Google AdWords and Google Analytics to promote its business since 2007, and these have now become some of its most important marketing channels.
Google AdWords has played a crucial role in the development of the company and helps to promote its online shop. “We’re reaching the right customers, and we are visible where we want to be,” says Marketing Manager Hans Arne Hvind. “Google AdWords enables us to compete with other businesses within the industry; without it we would quickly lose ground.”
Sparmax uses other digital platforms to communicate with their customers in different ways, but Google AdWords creates a steady stream of customers to its online shop, while Google Analytics makes it really easy to keep an eye on the flow of visitors. “We have found a marketing channel we are comfortable with, and which also brings us the number of customers we are aiming for.”
