Semprepronte embraces the digital revolution and grows its own market
Semprepronte, which started out as part of an online business that produced customised die-cut corrugated cardboard boxes, is an e-commerce packaging company that sells packing materials. It’s a good example of how an already successful business can gain a new lease of life by developing its product line and promptly embracing the digital revolution. “Our turnover has increased by 30% every year since 2010, ever since the company started to use Google AdWords. We owe our success as an e-commerce business largely to this tool,” says Alberto Marodin, Manager of Google AdWords and Google Analytics Channels at Semprepronte. The company has recently been hiring two additional staff members each year, including Marodin himself. “I’m living proof of exactly how Google can help to create new jobs,” he says, adding that what he values most about Google products is “their ease of use, intuitiveness and excellent customer support.” And effectiveness is maximised by using AdWords and Analytics together: “AdWords and Analytics combined is a sure-fire way to run successful advertising campaigns.” The company also has a presence on Facebook and Twitter, but chooses to invest most in Google products.
