Italian company Ghirigoro sells its limited-edition T-shirts in Patagonia

Giovanna Bronico runs her business Ghirigoro, which means doodle or squiggle, single-handedly. Based in Silvi Marina in the Italian region of Abruzzo, she makes her own limited-edition T-shirts and leather accessories, all of which are guaranteed to contain no toxic chemicals. Giovanna says Google Analytics is very effective at telling her where to focus her business based on website traffic, and helping her to understand which markets are the most successful. “My turnover has increased by 30% since I started using Analytics,” she enthuses. “I've sold products as far afield as Canada and Patagonia.” She also finds Gmail an extremely useful and intuitive business tool, and likes the fact that her site is optimised for search engines with very little effort on her part. Giovanna uses Calendar, and plans to begin establishing a presence on Blogger in the near future. Another important app is Google Maps, which shows exactly where her customers are coming from. She concludes: “I always think to myself how helpful Google has been to my company.”
