Reiseshop’s sales increase by 20% with Google AdWords
Owner Erling Lunde established Reiseshop in 2001, when he started selling tailor-made holidays to England and Spain to Norwegian football enthusiasts. He has used Google AdWords to market his business online right from the outset.
Almost 100% of the company’s marketing activity takes place online, with AdWords at the forefront. “Google AdWords helps us reach the right market, and with the correct set-up we are connecting with our target group. And with Google Analytics in the background, we get an immediate response to whether the advertising works, which is great,” says Erling.
If you can connect with customers then this in turn creates revenue, and Google AdWords has had a big impact on the company’s growth. “We’ve had invaluable help in setting up Google AdWords to achieve the best possible results, and it has given us a 20% increase in profit,” says Erling. “Sales have soared from zero to 20 million Norwegian kroner since we started, and Google AdWords is our only marketing channel.”
