The scope of Moga’s business just keeps on growing
The environmental management activities and services provided by Moga d.o.o. have diversified over the course of more than two decades and now include wholesale and retail trade, whether in garden centres or online. Offering what is probably the largest selection of ornamental garden plants in Slovenia, the firm has traded extensively with the help of Google AdWords for almost ten years. It has also leveraged AdWords for its planned move into foreign markets, which is being executed via its optimised, multilingual online store. Marketing Manager Žiga Vidmar explains: “Google is our company's window to the world. We have gained visibility and increased sales, as well as actually obtaining a new point of sale. When we opened the store and began to advertise with AdWords, we had no idea of the tangible effect it would have on our bottom line.” Žiga continues: “Once we had a stock of bonsai, we ran an AdWords campaign – more for fun than doing it seriously. But we sold €8,000 worth of trees! The market came to us.” For Žiga, the more he puts into AdWords, the more he gets out of it: “Google provides you with a showroom and the rest is up to you. The more energy you put in, the more you increase your visibility or success rate.”
