Gradtur successfully paves the way to new markets
Founded in 2001, Gradtur's recognition as a specialist in organising Croatian tours has been growing ever since. Gradtur Director Jure Babarovića could be described an AdWords veteran, having relied on the service since the company was established. Gradtur uses the program to continuously acquire new customers, especially those from abroad; this is also reflected in its sales growth and increase in staff numbers. Google has also proven to be a useful ally to the company in its struggle with larger, stronger competitors. In the words of Mr Babarović, Google's products and services are crucial to continued survival of online companies. He adds: "For us, advertising on Google is attractive partly because it is so simple to use and partly for reasons of efficiency – on both counts, it is well above the standards of all other marketing tools."
