Gatoo improves sales and opens new lines of business

Gatoo is an online shop that sells small appliances and hotel equipment. Since it doesn’t have a brick-and-mortar presence, Gatoo needs good visibility on the Internet to attract new customers. For that reason, 80% of its advertising budget is allocated to online advertising. Google AdWords is one of the most important marketing tools for Gatoo. Not only does it help them improve sales but it also opens up new lines of business, providing them with information about the most popular products, and enabling them to experiment with keyword searches. Manager Francisco José comments, “Without AdWords, we’d be a smaller company and we’d struggle to achieve the same success.” Gatoo generates 40% of its revenue by combining AdWords with other Google tools like Merchant Center, and can compete with large e-commerce companies like Amazon. Francisco José believes that Google products improve the efficiency of the company, and notes, “Without them, we’d probably have to change our way of working and we wouldn’t enjoy the same quality of life.”
