Award-winning Exclaimer achieves international success
Award-winning software company Exclaimer offers products that solve IT-related problems. “Our customers only realise they have an IT issue when the problem arises, and so they search on Google for a solution,” says CEO Andrew Millington. “Google AdWords allows us to be there when we need to be seen.” So much so that Exclaimer credits AdWords with enabling it to sell its products internationally. As soon as it launched in 2003, Exclaimer began using AdWords. Since then, revenue has increased by 20% year-on-year, and today the company does 75% of its business outside of the UK. “Google allows us to be a small business selling anywhere in the world in a way that was not possible ten years ago,” says Andrew. “We would have had to set up countless more relationships with regional partners and attend many more trade shows to obtain that kind of coverage. Google provides a much quicker and more profitable route to our customers.”
