Digital Garage helps Magic Party share fun and laughter online
Magic Party brings fun and laughter to children’s parties across the UK. Founded by Roy and Bell Farmer, also known as the Balloonatics, the company specialises in magic shows, face painting and balloon modelling. After seeing an online ad, the couple decided to attend a course at the Digital Garage to learn more about growing their business online. “We didn’t really know how our website was doing because someone else was looking after it,” says Roy. “Digital Garage made us feel completely at home. We went on five courses over five weeks and learnt so much.” Equipped with their new-found knowledge about different platforms and tools, alongside skills in SEO and analytics, Roy and Bell began to implement their expertise to improve their business. Through a new mobile website, which they track using Google Analytics, they’ve been able to grow their online presence. “After implementing what we learned at the Digital Garage, we got 15% more enquiries and 10% more bookings in one year,” says Bell. The couple is now keen to take this success further. “I don’t think you can ever stop learning with this sort of thing,” says Bell. “You’ve got to keep up with everything that’s going on around you.”
