A growing business catches customers at the right time
When asked to describe in one sentence what Viena Sąskaita does, CEO Vytenis Ziberkas replies quickly and confidently: “It’s a more convenient way to pay for services and to make things easier at home.” In other words, Viena Sąskaita consolidates all the household bills into one and facilitates their payment. Viena Sąskaita uses pretty much all of Google’s products – from searching to translation systems. The company also uses Google AdWords, and has done so for about four years.
In the beginning, Vytenis viewed AdWords suspiciously – since Viena Sąskaita’s service wasn’t known at the time, he wasn’t sure why anyone would look for it. Now he says he could do away with television advertising entirely, although about 80% of the firm’s advertising budget is dedicated to it. Vytenis also says that it would be difficult to manage without AdWords. The company gets about 700 customers per month from AdWords, which equates to around one-third of its whole client flow. Viena Sąskaita does not limit its budget for AdWords campaigns. According to Vytenis: “It’s significantly cheaper to find customers through AdWords than through other platforms, because AdWords has professionals who administer the program, which means your own employees don’t have to do it.” Vytenis continues: “To us, AdWords is like a fishing net. We find people who know about us, who are familiar with us, but they need to be caught in the right place at the right time.”
