Travel agency start-up believes in online and is richly rewarded

When the Travelantis.de platform was launched in Leipzig in 2006 as a new online travel agency, the founders turned to Google AdWords to raise their profile and generate new business. “I had excellent experiences with AdWords with my previous employer, so in a sense I brought it with me to the new company,” recalls Managing Director Dirk Schumann. Thanks to AdWords, the young company was able to win a succession of new customers and to grow, but that’s not all. “For us, AdWords was also the gateway to new markets such as Austria and Switzerland,” continues Schumann. “In addition, it enabled us to survive alongside considerably larger companies.” This company from Saxony also values the ability Google tools give it to tailor its activities precisely to each market: “Google tools mean our marketing campaigns are more precisely targeted and require less effort to implement,” says Schumann in summary. “Thanks to Google, we have been able to grow significantly.”
