Boutique bed and breakfast Siebenglück hits the ground running with AdWords
Ute Schleder has operated a boutique bed and breakfast business in a historical part of Trier since 2012. The B&B now employs six people and can be reached online at www.siebenglueck.de. Since May 2014, they have been using Google AdWords to acquire new customers. “We were already growing continuously through word of mouth, and ratings on Tripadvisor and similar platforms,” explains Managing Director Ute Schleder, “but since we started using AdWords, bookings have gone up by 20%.” Around 70% of all guests find the B&B through Google, which does not particularly surprise Schleder. “Our clientele wants something special,” adds the manager, “and that is exactly where Google comes into play for us.” Google is the most important driver of revenue for the hotel.
