Heating installer uses AdWords to drive rapid company growth

The Berlin-based platform www.thermondo.de went live in 2012. Its aim was to successfully run a heating installation business relying exclusively on web channels. The team – which now comprises 40 employees – used Google AdWords from the start. “Through AdWords, we generated new customers incredibly quickly, which enabled us to increase turnover and hire more staff,” recalls Online Marketing Director Stephan Herwig. “Without AdWords we would currently be at a very different stage of business development.” Thermondo spends 75% of its advertising budget online and thanks to business partnerships with public utilities and energy suppliers is listed on other platforms. It’s not just the great advertising performance that the Berlin company loves about AdWords – they also appreciate the tool’s exceptional functionality and scalability, as well as the fact that results generated by AdWords campaigns can be evaluated precisely. “With AdWords, we’re always free to decide what we want to do, and how we want to do it,” concludes Herwig.
