Scriba grows its sales by 50% with the help of Google products
Scriba is a client-focused translation firm that is always prepared to go the extra mile. “The translation industry is diverse in many ways,” explains Manager Kudrun Tamm. “It’s not necessarily size that matters most, it’s the niche you’re able to carve out for yourself. We’re not trying to be a factory-line style, large-scale translation agency. Instead we want to offer high-quality services at a reasonable price.” Kudrun continues: “Google Drive has been of significant help. When several translators are working on the same project, Google makes it easy to harmonise their communications and terminology, and consequently improves their results.” She goes on to say that Google’s impact can’t be underestimated: “Since a translator’s job requires having good research skills, it’s safe to say that many translations start with a Google search.” Kudrun adds that Google AdWords has been the firm’s most effective advertising tool by far. The agency’s been successfully using AdWords for three years, and the tool’s also helped the firm offer its services in Finnish, English and Swedish. Kudrun concludes: “At the moment, 40% of new clients find us through AdWords. Our sales have increased by 50% as a result!”
