Goalkeeping kit site turns into a sales champ
KEEPERsport sells sporting goods via its online store and specialises in high-quality products for football goalkeepers. The company based in Kottingbrunn in Lower Austria was founded in 2000. Since January 2014, the company’s marketing strategy has partly relied on Google products and services, including AdWords, Analytics, Google+ and YouTube. Google AdWords in particular has rapidly made a major contribution to developing the company. Thanks to this increased online presence, the KEEPERsport brand now has a much higher profile. Building on the regional marketing already in place, AdWords has enabled the company to establish an overarching German-speaking presence in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Lately, it has also expanded into the Netherlands – a particularly promising market for the products sold by KEEPERsport. Based on his experience over the years, Lukas Kornfeld is ready to put his faith in Google products and services for the long term: “Thanks to AdWords, we now have around 20% more visitors than a year ago.”
