Creative education course provider gains 80% of clients through online advertising
Hobiju kursi offers a variety of creative education courses for adults. The firm has been using Google AdWords since its foundation in 2009. Initially it was just one of several forms of advertising the company used, attracting 20% of all clients in the first year, but today it is the main marketing tool. By the second year, AdWords was already drawing in 80% of the firm’s business. Founder Dzintars Belogrudovs says he loves this Google product because it is so easy to use. It offers various advertising options, including letting the system run itself for a while. Dzintars now recommends the tool to his friends as he is convinced it can start making a difference within just one month. Statistics show that people from 35 countries, mainly Latvians living abroad, have searched for information about Hobiju kursi. In the future, the company also plans to use AdWords to develop an online store and advertise its products in a particular region of Germany. As Dzintars says: “We can thank Google AdWords that we still exist. Otherwise we’d certainly be facing liquidation.”
