Art auction house attracts collectors from abroad
Founded in 2009, Izsolu nams is today the leading art auction house in the Baltic states. It offers artwork, interiors, furniture, jewellery, silver, bronze, amber, porcelain, ceramics, glass and crystal items, as well as books, postcards, photographs, coins and other antiques at attractive starting prices. In the near future, it will also hold live auctions online. In addition, it offers services including the valuation of artworks, expert assistance for restoration and advice on creating private and corporate collections. The nature of the industry means that the auction house uses print, radio, Facebook and Twitter for advertising, but for the last three years AdWords has been indispensable. About 20% of Izsolu nams’s marketing budget is spent on AdWords, significantly increasing traffic to the firm’s website. Manager Girts Grinbergs says he likes the Google product because of its popularity and simplicity, and confirms that it has helped to attract many collectors from abroad: “It’s almost impossible not to use Google AdWords. It’s a key marketing tool.”
