Anne Crouan owns a château in the Loire Valley, offering luxury accommodation and function rooms for hire. Anne spends 50% of her advertising budget online and has been using Google AdWords and Google Analytics for several years: “Analytics in particular allows us to adopt a more hands-off approach to managing the site. By studying the behaviour of Internet users and segmenting our clientele, we are able to tailor our marketing campaigns more precisely and increase our visibility.” Today, interest via the site comes from all over Europe and shows no sign of slowing down. Anne is happy to see that the company’s turnover is also up, in particular in the area of events now that they have a clearer idea of the types of clients, companies and individuals that they want to target. She is pleased that Château de Chambiers is now one of the most popular châteaux in Anjou in terms of room hire. In her opinion, Google products are intuitive and easy to use. “There is no doubt in my mind that they have made my business more dynamic,” says Anne.
