Android helps Atooma create software to make life easier
Resonance AI software, created by Atooma, enables companies in the automotive and smart home sectors to enrich their apps with artificial intelligence technology for the Internet of Things space. Connecting to the home and car, the software tracks user behaviour and offers them predictive, personalised suggestions to simplify their lives, such as indicating the nearest restaurant at meal times and calculating the quickest route home after a business meeting. Android and other Google products have played a significant role in the development of Resonance AI. “Android has enabled us to turn our vision into reality,” says CMO Gioia Pistola. “Because we must constantly anticipate and innovate, tools like Google App Engine, Google Cloud and TensorFlow help us stay ahead in the market.” The flexibility and openness of Android have helped Atooma establish Resonance AI as a core solution for businesses looking to build interactive apps. “I fell in love with Android because it is open source, and now this flexibility enables us to create more smart features that make users’ lives easier,” says CEO Fabrizio Cialdea. “And because we can develop faster on Android, we waste very little time and money, which makes us a hit with investors.” Google has also enabled Atooma to expand its market base. “Moving to the cloud has helped us reach new customers internationally because we are no longer tied to physical servers,” adds Gioia. Atooma now has plans to make its Resonance AI available for all to use, free of charge, giving small start-ups the chance to benefit from this innovative software.
