Spa sees reservations soar by 25–30% in both summer and winter

AquatoniK is a five-star facility located close to Lake Kleptuza in Velingrad – the town known as the ‘pearl of Bulgarian spas’. Online advertising makes up the lion’s share of AquatoniK’s marketing mix, and Google AdWords has been its preferred advertising tool over the last five years.

Marketing Manager Silvia Dimitrova says: “Thanks to AdWords, we get more visits to the site and more reservations. Advertising in AdWords has helped us to achieve a 25–30% growth in summer and winter reservations, and more than 10% annual growth – not to mention a 5–7% increase in the number of foreign visitors.”

Silvia explains that AdWords also offers opportunities to apply flexible advertising approaches and control spending: “We cut the price per click for common search words and boosted our investment in a small number of specific terms. This enabled us to highlight what makes our services unique and set ourselves apart from the competition.”

AquatoniK also has experience of using Geo and Google Maps, and plans to add Business View to its portfolio in the near future. “Google is always updating its products in our interest, which makes us see it as a major business partner,” Silvia concludes.
