Rosedale House is an exclusive private residence in Dublin that can be hired for weddings and special events. The venue, set in 6.5 acres, has also been the location of a TV show and several upmarket fashion shoots. “When I dreamt up the idea for Rosedale, people thought I was mad,” says Patrick Reade, the owner of RRLM Ltd that runs Rosedale House. “I was starting from scratch to build something unique out of what was essentially a derelict building.” Patrick used Google AdWords to help him with his online marketing. Over the past ten months, Patrick has targeted people in the Dublin area who are looking for something special, as well as people further afield in the UK and Australia. He has seen turnover steadily increase. “AdWords is the main marketing and engagement tool we use to target and reach clients. It’s a really effective method of online marketing,” says Patrick. “In 2015, we hope to get 40 bookings with AdWords’ help, which is pretty incredible.”
