New customers are flocking to Idé Reklambyrå AB
Idé Reklambyrå AB is a small agency based in Linköping. Here they develop creative concepts – small and large – for their clients, but one of the most profitable ideas for the company has been to make use of AdWords in its search for new customers. Business Developer Carl Drie explains how that decision has changed Idé's customer recruitment. “Instead of having to reach out as part of our sales efforts, we're sought out. AdWords gives us a couple of new customers daily and we've noticed that we receive spontaneous enquiries. People don't look at adverts in the paper when they're looking for an ad agency – they search online. That's where we find our new customers,” explains Carl. The budget for AdWords is a few hundred kronor per day, which is roughly the equivalent of half an hour's pay for one salesperson – so the profitability of this equation is more than good. For Idé, efficiency is important, and used properly, AdWords can target its adverts precisely whilst showing costs and pay-off directly. “We have almost doubled our turnover every month in the last quarter. We're growing so fast the foundations are shaking. AdWords is a contributing factor, but there are lots of other pieces in the puzzle,” concludes Carl Drie.
