Anna Skórzyńska stumbled upon the idea behind her company myHummy when she discovered an unorthodox way of helping her young son sleep – the humming of a hair dryer. She developed a teddy bear that produces white noise, a sound that helps babies and young children have a more peaceful sleep. “I knew I had a good product, but I didn’t know how to tell the world about it,” says Anna. She joined the Internetowe Rewolucje programme to learn more about effective online selling and how to understand online customers. “I gained a huge amount of knowledge about how to sell on the Internet, and I became familiar with new tools that up until that point were foreign to me,” she says. After implementing her learning and using new tools in her business, Anna soon realised she could save a significant amount of money by doing tasks she used to pay other people to do. She also noticed a big growth in her sales. “One month after attending the Internetowe Rewolucje programme, we had a 20% increase in sales,” says Anna. After success across Germany, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, Anna is now ready to take myHummy to new and larger markets across China, Russia and beyond.
