Lajos.nl advertises alongside multi-million-euro companies
Lajos.nl develops web applications based on open-source software and provides web specialists from its network of more than 250 web developers. In 2010, Co-owner Lajos Tomeï and his business partner ventured a small amount on a Google AdWords campaign. The Dutch multimedia organisation, Wereldomroep, responded almost immediately and has since become a major client. Nowadays the firm regularly deploys AdWords campaigns, with a bigger budget.
“We get a reaction every day now,” says Lajos, “And that generates at least one interesting contact every week.” Thanks to AdWords, the company’s also acquired big clients such as the Dutch broadcasting company SBS and Delft Technical University. Lajos continues: “All our growth is directly related to AdWords. Our income has tripled since we started using AdWords.”
In Lajos’ view, the good thing about AdWords is that you can influence it yourself. They’re only a small company, but with AdWords, they’re sometimes advertising next to businesses worth millions of euros.
At the moment Lajos is busy growing the company. When they started out, they had no freelancers and did everything themselves, in-house – but now he’s able to focus on the commercial aspect of the business And he couldn’t be happier about that.
